Since 1983, yellow boats have been leaving the Clock Tower Quay to take on the Lachine Rapids, the stretch where the St. Lawrence drops **thirteen metres** over roughly ten kilometres.
The run lasts an hour: fifteen minutes of cruising that frame downtown, Habitat 67 and the Biosphère from the water, then forty-five minutes of waves taken head-on.
