Born from a humble wooden chapel built in 1904 by **Brother André**, the modest doorkeeper of the Congregation of Holy Cross who became a beloved healer and was canonized in 2010, Saint Joseph's Oratory is today the world's largest shrine dedicated to Saint Joseph and the largest church in Canada.
