Opened by a Kurdish couple on Côte-des-Neiges Road, Mekan & Beyond built its menu like an atlas: each burger pays tribute to a city or a country. The Beyrouth arrives with fried eggplant, pickled turnips and a garlic-tahini sauce blend; the Denver plays the classic score; the Mekan Burger, the house signature, sums up the intent.
