Chez Parée sits on rue Stanley, steps from the Centre Bell, in a building that has housed cabarets since the 1930s.
The name comes from the club that opened in 1950 in place of the Tic Toc, meaning to be the most lavish cabaret in North America. Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Charlie Parker all played it before it closed in 1971.
